Russ has always been involved in ministry of some form or another from elementary school band to Concert & Recording. Worship has always been his first call. Saved at a very young age Russ spent many years singing at schools, churches and functions. In his late teens he began to learn guitar as a need arose at his youth group and so he also began the local coffeehouse circuit. At the launch of Realm Warriors Ministries in 1998 Russ began branching out into other outreaches and began the Brooklyn Bridge Christian Coffee House, Safe Harbor Ministry and the Maryland Coffeehouse Ministryleaders. Singer, Songwriter Theologian & Minister, Russ is a Brooklyn native in the South Baltimore area of Maryland - Serving the Lord for decades, Russ has a "Balladeer Style" of singing and a true "Troubadours" heart. With the passion of King David, the anointing of Asaph, the prayer of Jabez and the promise of Isaiah 54:2-3. Russ's voice has a calming effect on those who listen and a challenging message to believers. ASAPH is available to Lead Worship, fill in at your church or event and minister at any function. As Senior Pastor of Safe Harbor Ministry, Outreach and Homeless ministry has been a top priority. It’s not unusual to see Russ on the streets or at a rescue mission.
